Header Cards

Summary

By the images, this product may be a little hard to recognize. I’ll give you a hint… Plastic. Figure it out yet? Well, If you still don’t see it… Imagine it stapled onto a plastic enclosure with an awesome new product inside.  In case my amazing description hasn’t helped, I am talking about printed bag topper header cards.

There are actually many different names for this product. I’m not sure the industry has come to a consensus on exactly what to call them. I’ve seen them called Bag Toppers, Header Cards, Product Rack Hangers, Hang Tags, etc. For the purpose of this article, we’re sticking with header cards.

Anywho… Let’s take a look at what went into creating these babies.

First things first, the product header cards are printed via our offset printing presses on 12pt C1S (Coated 1 side) using 4 color ink technology. Once they are finished, they are sent up to our die cutting department where they are die-cut into the header cards you see pictured.

I haven’t actually seen the final packaging for this particular customer so I’m not sure what they do. Usually though, the header cards are stapled onto a plastic bag with the product inside.
