Summary

A couple’s wedding is usually the most important day in their lives. It’s important to have invites that reflect this sentiment. D&D Printing has been designing and printing wedding invitations for a half a century! This project is a recent wedding invite we did for a couple. Let’s check it out!

As you can tell from the images, this project is much more than just a wedding invite. It is a complete wedding invite package! Here is a list of what was included:

• Wedding Pocket Folder
• Wedding Invitations
• Wedding Rsvp Card
• Wedding RSVP A6 Envelope
• Wedding Gift Registry Card
• Wedding Song Request Card
• White Pencil

To start this project the wedding pocket folder was printed via our digital press on Curious Collections Mettalics Ice Silver Cover. This is a great metallic paper. It gives the perfect amount of shine and sparkle while not overpowering the design. It has a great bright white look. We wanted to keep the design simple on the pocket folder to let the paper do it’s job and impress. It was then taken to our die-cutting department where they die-cut it to create what you see pictured.

The wedding invites, wedding rsvp cards and Gift Registry Cards were foiled on French Paper’s 80# Uncoated Black Cover. If you look closely at the foil you will see that it looks faded. This was done intentionally in order to give it a chalk like appearance. We were going for Chalk on blackboard look. How cool is that!? The foiled wedding invites were then taken with the other cards to be cut. The RSVP and Gift Registry Cards were cut to be stacked as you see in second image.

At this point the only thing left to be done was the song request card, the envelope and the white pencil. The Song request card has no printing on it. It is all foil. To create it we took the ice silver cover up to our hot stamping department where the hot stamped it with a purple foil. It was then die cut into the cassette tape song request card. Once it was finished it was then velcrod to the pocket folder. The white pencils were then cut in half, sharpened and stuck with a light adhesive to the pocket folder and the digitally printed A6 White wove envelopes were printed.

Everything was then put together in the package pictured, boxed and delivered.
