Children’s Book Printing

Summary

It used to be the case that in order to print children’s books you had to have a large upfront investment. Nowadays, you can print your own children’s book for a fraction of that price. In fact, print on demand hardcover children’s books are a very popular publishing option these days.

This is a project we did for a very talented local Grand Rapids Children’s Author Barbara Symanski. This is the second title we’ve done her. To complete this project we used both our Digital Printing Presses as well as our Large Format Printers.

To start this project off we printed the internal pages via our Digital Printing Press on 80# Gloss Text. Simultaneously, we printed both the wrap and cover via our wide format printers on Semi Gloss Photo Paper. Once this was complete, both the books wrap and cover were laminated. The cover was then created into a hardcover and perfect bound with the internal pages. The Wrap was then put on each book. They were then boxed and shipped.
